I'll Be Home for Christmas!

Yeah for being in Colorado! I arrived here last weekend and have been spending some quality time up in the mountains getting my fill of snowboarding for the year. Cason, Ashley, and Dan joined me for the week and I am pretty sure they had a good time. We were pretty exhausted after four days on the slopes and I remember why I miss Colorado so much! You don't see too much snow in Waco, Texas. You know you miss the stuff when you can't stop talking about how "cool" snowflakes are to your friends in Texas who don't usually see the stuff. I'm pretty sure they thought it was my first time seeing snow fall too! UNBELIEVABLE!

My 'Texan friends' (as everyone started calling them...much to their disapproval) made me proud on the mountains though. Cason managed to make it the whole week without a major wreck and even beat me down the mountain the last day (although we both think he may have had a head start). Dan and Ashley walked away with no injuries and even had a few garage sales to brag about! Woo hoo! Mostly I was proud because they didn't show up wearing Dallas Cowboys starter jackets, jeans, and cowboy hats! Ha! They are great!

Christmas should be pretty quiet for me. I am enjoying some quality time with the parentals and sisters and buffalo too! If you are in Colorado, give me a call, I'd love to connect with you!
