I am so excited about a summer in Colorado! So, in order to fully enjoy it, I have been inspired by a few people to create a list of things to do (on a smaller budget) in Colorado. If you have any suggestions...please send them my way! And, if you are in the area and want to join in on any of these adventures, then let's do it!
Backpacking in Rocky Mountain National Park
Hike some fourteeners (Bierstadt is the first on the list)
Camping
Watch a movie at "Film on the Rocks" : Red Rocks Ampitheatre
Visit the Zoo
First Friday Art Walk
Run the Bolder Boulder, May 26th
Volunteer for a Habitat Build
BBQs in the park
Boating/Waterskiing
Rock Climbing
Float through Steamboat Springs
Alpine Slide at Heritage Square
Ultimate Frisbee
Any other suggestions/ideas?

One word: Waterfalls. No, not the TLC song...actual waterfalls. They have to make it on the list! Other than that, I am all in. Well, all in for whatever you would not mind a Butler or two joining you on anyway.
Still brainstorming on other fun and cheap activities...
so i just discovered you have a blog...that is pretty cool.
i think you should go to the the pool that smells like sulfer in colorado springs...thats what my fam always did in the summer.
that, and go hang out in estes park and eat some fresh salt water taffy. yum.
