Literally, a sitcom...

So it has been way too long since I have updated this thing...I am really surprised if anyone even checks this anymore...but, I thought I would make a quick entry to see if anyone really missed me! :)

I am so excited because this summer I was introduced to the brilliance that is The Office. I have caught up, for the most part, on all three seasons, and I am counting down (8 days) for the new season to start (and for Jim and Pam to finally go out on a date!)

In honor of this show, and in another demonstration to prove that my life really is a sitcom, I thought I would share a most recent sitcom moment. For those of you who are fans, there was an episode in the third season where Michael shows up wearing a women's suit. Turns out, he found it in a bin, and it fit, so he bought it...shoulder pads and all. One of the greatest moments in this episode, is when he is trying to prove that he is not wearing a women's suit, he opens up the jacket to see the designer to show hot pink lining, and a designer called Miss-sterious (or something of the sort)

As I was watching this episode, I was literally on the ground rolling. For, I myself pulled a Michael. I too was rummaging through a bin at Ross, and found a really cute shirt. I wore it to work one day and kept thinking to myself, "this just doesn't seem to be fitting right". I got home and looked at the label. It was designed by "Mama-mia". Yeah, I was wearing a maternity shirt. No wonder I was thinking the front of the shirt was a little poochy. (Luckily, no one called me out at work, but I did share the story with them this week!)

So there you go...

8 more days!

Uh, of course I still check this thing. Bravo on The Office countdown! I almost made a paperclip chain but ran out of time. Watched the season finale from last year last night and cried...again. No worries about wearing the prego clothes to work...it is the new style, no joke. My mom gave a me a shirt that makes me look like I am in my 3rd trimester. I am not a fan but Cameron and my mom love it on me. I keep having to tell them...no, you two are not getting a baby any time soon. They think there are so subtle!

oh brilliant!! I can see you trying to hand hem the sides in while ducking behind your cubicle!! "will they notice the pooch?!?! These paperclips should do the trick!"
Oh you crack me up! Have you seen the latest office update on nbc.com about what the office staff did this summer? Oh it's great! You'll just be itching for more!
Love you!

That is a great story! I for one only wear appropriate clothing that has been previously matched be someone who is not color impaired. I refuse to relive the dreadful St. Patrick's Day of 1988 over again.
