Roommates

I have been very blessed in moving to Texas for two reasons that I have not really written about at all on this lovely blog. My roommates, Katy and Courtney. This is a picture of us at our fun, and self-proclaimed "awkward" Christmas party.

I am thankful because they are both sweet spirited, easy going, and have created a safe place and home for me to vent and laugh alot!

Katy is quite possibly the sweetest girl I have ever met in my life. She sees the glass not as half full, but as always overflowing. There is not a day that I am not amazed at the capacity she has to see things as happening for a reason, even if it is just to remind me to laugh at myself and see the lighter side of life!

Courtney is a seminary student at Truett (associated with Baylor). I laugh with her a lot too, mostly at her continual antics (we have a rubber ear that seems to find its way into random places in the apartment) and her constant thoughtfulness and concern for me. (She did run to the grocery store a few nights ago to pick me up some medicine for my sick stomach)

Anyway, this is just a little shout out to them. I am thankful for them and for the little apartment I call home here in Waco.
