panic...

Whoa!

Syllabus day tends to be a highlight of the year for many people. Probably because it means a shortened day of class. Syllabus day for me is the worst day of class...I look at everything that needs to be accomplished and start to panic. I know in my head that I have an entire class to complete everything, but somewhere that thought loses all rationality and I believe that everything needs to be completed by tomorrow...and then I panic.

Back to school has come as a bit of a shock to me. I went from having nothing to do all day but lay next to the pool and read a book for fun, to having class everyday, homework everyday, and work responsibilities.

I had a momentary day of panic. Okay two days of panic but I seem to be settling into a rhythm again and returning to the reality of life and class. I am thankful for people in my life who allow me to process through all of this and realize that I don't need to panic...and also because they don't in turn think I am crazy...

On another note, this humidity probably should be causing some panic for me in regards to my hair. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger and frizzier and frizzier as the day goes on...(is frizzier a word?) It certainly does not make me appear any less crazy.

Out of control, I tell you, it is out of control.

I love syllabus day. It's the only time you can use the plural "syllabi." I love that :o)

Hey there...
I just got back from spending a week in Mexico... Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Tulum, etc... Had a wonderful time. I completely understand your thoughts on humidity, I had a hard time dealing with it in Mexico, I am glad to be back in dry Colorado air! I will post pictures on my blog eventually so check back. Anyway, it was good to hear from you... will you be around at all this summer?
