El Fin

It is the end! Of the semester and one year of graduate school, that is...Hooray for endings. Hooray for beginnings too!

Transitions have always been hard for me. I have not learned how to gracefully allow change to happen. I find myself continually clinging to the things that have been, the things that are good, the friends who are leaving, to comfortable things.

May will be one of transition for me. Transitions from the school year, to summer school. Transitioning from having students around all the time, to having a handful of students around. Transitioning from cool weather to HOT weather. Transitions as my community of friends begins to shift as some graduate.

The key is to learn and be thankful for the past year, but to be intentional about where God has me today, and to invest in the present. I am excited and anticipate great things as the next chapter begins!
