I Give it a Ten!

Ten things I am thankful for that have happened in the last 10 days (in no particular order)

10. Steppin' Out! I am still amazed by the steering committee that made the whole event happen! I got to hang out with them again tonite and I am reminded of how much I love the whole crew 'cause we spent the night laughing alot! Yeah!

9. Finishing up all of the reading for my class, Culture and Organization of Higher Education. I have never loved and hated a class so much in my life. I have definitely learned a ton but it has been a hard class! Final paper is due next Tuesday...I'm sure there will be some celebration when that is finished!

8. Being surprised by Lissa...enough said!

7. Decorating the apartment for Christmas! I LOVE Christmas, the decorations, the smells, the songs, the lights...just about everything! This year we are celebrating by wearing some holiday vests as well! I'll send in a pic soon...

6. Spending some quality time with Lissa. It is always great to have an outsider's perspective on life here...especially since Lissa is someone who knows me well and can speak encouragement and truth in my life! I am very thankful for her!

5. Beginning to understand people in the office-and I don't use the word beginning lightly...they are a fun crew, but I still don't understand all the dynamics that come with our office!

4. Colorado Crew! I am leading a small group study with some girls from Colorado and it has been great getting to know them and just to hang out with some fellow Coloradans!

3. A cold front is coming in. I hear that Colorado got some snow...and while I am sad that I cannot be there to enjoy some real cold weather...I am thankful because it is bringing some cold weather my way! I may scream if we have another day of 85 degrees

2. A good, long conversation with Randy! That is like medicine for my soul! :)

1. Melissa Newman-the director for our steering committee for Steppin' Out. She is a senior at Baylor and shares my love of Chipotle and the Emperor's New Groove. We laugh a lot and I am very thankful for her sense of humor! So much fun!

yay for christmas! i can't believe you've decorated already. how fabulous. since they don't have thanksgiving here all the christmas stuff came out the day after halloween, but for some reason, it still doesn't feel like it's quite time yet... i don't know why. it's freezing cold here (literally -- i wish i could share it with you), so you'd think i'd be in the right mood for it, not that i have any decorations...

hope you had a good time with lissa!
