Some totally random thoughts about the last week of my life:
1. Pig's feet and pig's tail are mighty tasty! My friend Jason from Trinidad cooked up some great food for lunch today! The pig feet soup was a bit spicy but not bad! Yeah Jason!
2. When I was younger, I had a peach sweatsuit. Not only was it peach, but I thought (with the approval of my sister Mindi) that it would look great to put neon colored puffy-paint things all over the whole suit (I think our favorite was a multicolored firework) Hanging around college students at Baylor, I am told that they seem to be the trendsetters as far as fashion goes. I am just a little concerned because I've seen a lot more peach clothing once again. I am just hoping we don't have to go all the way back to my peach sweatpants to find fashions that are acceptable. Not a good idea, not a good idea at all.
3. FCC (Freshman Class Council) Service is a group I advise at Baylor. It has been great getting to know some students. We had a retreat last weekend (with about 50 students). I included some pictures of the whole crew, and me with the other advisor (Jeff Kirksey) and our two co-leaders, Laura and Eric.

4. There are some positives to being in Texas. The hospitality and overall consideration of girls is surprising but easy to get used to. I never knew that simply opening someone's car door could make me feel so special!
5. Sir and Ma'am are used often here. Most of my students refer to me as Ms. Davis and I am called Ma'am more than I ever have hoped to be called Ma'am. The problem is, I have always known the word to be used sarcastically, so it is hard for me to take seriously. I either feel like someone is trying to be sassy or flirt with me. Neither can be good.

It is so good to see a picture of you! You're so tall.
Well, hope you guys get to know the dean of Baylor really well.
Friends forever.
Randy my long lost best friend! Sorry about the lack of wedding invite. MD said you were pretty hurt. Can we still be best friends? Always a pleasure hearing from you!
Blessings!
Your friend,
Jeff
