Top ten reasons I love watching the 2006 Olympics:
1. Great “parade-like” commentary of the opening ceremonies “And here you can see the tall trees running in”
2. Learning where Moldova is
3. Rooting for Trinidad’s Bobsled Team (that one’s for Jason!)
4. Crying at all the inspirational commercials
5. Flying Tomato Snowboarding phenomenon
6. Norway walking in to the song “Video Killed the Radio Star” (really?)
7. Girls dressed up in cow dresses dancing in “the Alps” (Honey, does this dress make me look fat?)
8. Hearing anyone speak in Italian!
9. Duuun, duuun, da-dun-dun-dun-dun duun duun-dun-duun dun dun dun dundun dun dun duuuun
10. Really, who doesn’t love curling?
